How to Enroll in Our Esthetics, Cosmetology or Nail Tech Programs

Are you dreaming about a career in the beauty industry? You can complete our programs in as little as 23 weeks and start exploring new skincare, hairstyling, or nail design opportunities. Here’s how to enroll:

    1. Read through our available courses and decide which one is right for you. If you need more clarification, speak with one of our admissions advisors for more advice.
    2. Come into our Jackson or Saraland locations for a tour. We’ll show you around and let you see the salon-style setting where our students learn and develop their skills.
    3. Start the application process. You can fill out the application online. An admissions team member will contact you to complete the next steps.

Our team will review your applications and documents, and once you’ve been accepted, they’ll walk you through the enrollment process. Before you know it, you’ll be walking into your first class at Alabama School of Nail Technology & Cosmetology and starting your journey toward a new career.

What are the admissions requirements?

To gain admission to our beauty school, you’ll need to provide the following:

  • A copy of your high school transcripts showing that you graduated, a high school diploma, a letter from the school showing proof of
  • graduation, OR a G.E.D. transcript
  • Any high education transcripts you might have
  • Copy of State-issued photo identification such as a driver’s license
  • Your signed social security card
Do you accept transfer credits?

Yes. The Alabama Board of Cosmetology must verify your transfer hours, and it will be your responsibility to contact the Board and verify the hours before enrollment. The Alabama Board of Cosmetology does not accept hours earned in another state.

What are the graduation requirements?

To graduate from the Alabama School of Nail Technology & Cosmetology, a student must have:

  • Fulfilled all your financial obligations to the school.
  • Completed all of your clock hours, including theory hours and practical hours.
  • Passed all your required exams with a GPA of 70% or higher.
  • Had an attendance rate of 80% or better.
Do you offer distance education?

Yes. Up to 50% of the theory portion of a program may be offered as distance education.
