While financial aid is available for those who qualify, scholarships can be another fantastic way to pay for your education. With a scholarship, you don’t have to pay the money back. Alabama School of Nail Technology & Cosmetology is dedicated to helping students achieve their educational and professional goals in the beauty industry. To support this commitment, the school accepts various scholarships to help students fund their education. We encourage students to apply for scholarships and provide them with resources to find scholarships that fit their needs. Our financial aid office works closely with students to ensure they have all the necessary information and assistance in applying for scholarships.

Cosmetology and Nail Tech Scholarships
Looking for scholarships to help you pay for your cosmetology or nail tech courses? Start by checking out these industry-specific scholarship options.
- $5,000
- Must be a U.S. citizen enrolled or accepted in a cosmetology program
- Applicants must support the company’s mission
- $5,000
- Must be 18 years old and enrolled in a cosmetology program in the U.S. or Canada
- Open to BIPOC
- $5,000
- Must be enrolled in or accepted to a cosmetology program
- Must submit three photos of your artistic work and a 3-minute video
- $3,500
- Must be enrolled in or accepted to a cosmetology program in the United States
- Must submit proof of enrollment and a 3-minute YouTube video
- $5,000
- Must be a U.S. citizen that identifies as a BIPOC, 18 years old, and enrolled in or accepted to an accredited school
- Must complete an online application and submit a 3-minute YouTube video
- $15,000
- Must be 18 years old and newly or currently enrolled in a cosmetology program
- Must submit three photos of your work and a 3-minute YouTube video
